2:25 p.m. - 12:55 a.m.
- Repair and/or coordinate the repair and improvement of equipment and facility.
- Fix unsafe structures and equipment.
- Preventative/reactionary equipment and building maintenance as identified.
- Make equipment and building alterations and provide training as directed by the Safety Manager to assure that the company is meeting governmental safety requirements.
- Complete tasks in a timely manner to minimize safety hazards and maximize production’s efficiency.
- Work with other maintenance personnel to maintain a current listing of outstanding projects.
- Assist with grounds maintenance during inclement weather including snow removal, salting walkways, and relocation and staging of chassis.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with the Maintenance Supervisor that will affect aspects of production.
- A minimum of 1 year preferred in maintenance or electrical work in a manufacturing facility.
- Knowledge of the mechanics of equipment and facility structure.
- Familiarity with manufacturing machines.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong ability to interact with all levels of individuals within and outside the company.
- Ability to read and understand technical documents.
- Ability to analyze and solve technical problems.
- Ability to operate various shop tools including power and manually operated wrenches.
- Arc Flash and OSHA 10 training or will need to be completed once hired.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance in accordance with company attendance pol Professional (FMP) preferred.
